WATER WALL

The Thelma "T.C." Drayton Water Wall is a wall of hope and love to remind the people of Charleston of a great community advocate, leader and friend, the late T.C. Drayton (1947-2001). The Water Wall includes a bust of T.C.

During her life, TC Drayton received numerous awards and citations for setting the example for many.

"It's time for younger people to stand up," T.C. said in her final newspaper interview.

In her honor, Agape Ministries of Charleston established C.O.A.T. (The Older Americans Task Force), an organization to serve the social, civic, economic, and material needs of older Americans residing in Charleston County.
